Concept
Tradition
Armada
With more than half a century of history, 31 d’Armada is one of Alcântara’s landmark addresses. Renovated and reopened in 2018, it preserves its hand-painted 18th-century azulejo tile murals, now in a refined and elegant setting.
Cuisine
Land
Portuguese cooking with a contemporary Mediterranean touch takes pride of place. Only fresh, carefully sourced produce comes into our kitchen, from the sea bass soup to the confit salted cod and the black pork cheeks. As our Chef says, the best thing to do is taste and be happy.
Rooms
Déco
Two dining rooms with Art Deco touches and French furniture, a rigorous selection of produce and discreet, attentive service. An intimate, elegant setting for dinner for two, a business lunch or a celebration.
Terrace
Air
Inspired by Parisian cafés and covered by a lush bougainvillea, the terrace opens onto Largo da Armada. With glass curtains and heating, it invites you in any season to share small plates, try the bar’s signature cocktails or explore a list of Portuguese wines from every region.
